About River Bend Golf and Recreation Society
River Bend Golf and Recreation Society is a country club located 10 km north northeast of Red Deer city. Couples on the verge of tying the knot in a wedding ceremony cannot ask for a better wedding venue to take their vows. The setting of the club is phenomenal, with an eighteen-hole golf course almost surrounded by the meandering Red Deer River. The club offers two choices for wedding celebrations. The indoor rooms are one option coupled with a dance floor. The other option is the outdoor one known as a tent wedding.
The club offers four indoor event spaces - Ballroom, River Room, Bend Room and River Bend Room. They can accommodate guests as follows:
• The ballroom is perfect for wedding celebrations in an intimate setting accommodating 120 guests. A dance floor is also offered.
• River Room is ideal for birthdays, seminars and small, close-knit functions capable of accommodating up to105 guests. A private area is also available in this event space.
• Bend Room is suitable for small gatherings of up to 30 guests. This room offers a view of the golf course through large windows rising from the ground to the ceiling.
• River Bend Room can accommodate up to 135 guests. This room has private space and a dance floor as well.
• Tent wedding: A novel concept of performing wedding celebrations outdoors is tent wedding. The River Bend Golf and Recreation Society offers two standard options of tent weddings - one is for 140 guests, and the second is for 200 guests. The club can also provide services for larger gatherings on mutually agreed terms. The club also offers a dance floor.

The club offers catering services comprising standard packages of morning starts, breakfasts, midday getaway, dinners, evening morsels and little extras based on serving. There is a beverage service offered to consist of non-alcohol and alcoholic beverages. The catering is handled by an experienced kitchen manager with over 20 years of experience who is also Red Seal Certified.
