About Pie Eyed Monk Brewery
Originally a building dating back to the 1860s, the present-running Pie Eyed Monk Brewery is an amazing space for the local community to hang out and have a great time. Apart from being one of the finest creators of craft beer in downtown Lindsay, the place also organizes community get-togethers, weddings, corporate parties and houses a restaurant. To be precise, it is one of the finest wedding venues in the region, and with a rustic and historical lineage, it seems to have become a favorite among the masses.
First commissioned as a slaughterhouse, the 150-year-old property has been used as a granary, pool club, recreational hall, and gymnasium. However, with the local population’s excitement growing over a home-grown brewery, this place was converted to its present form by a set of investors.
The property has three floors, with the brewery on the ground floor, a wedding reception hall on the second, and a commercial tenant space at the topmost one. You can get some of the finest views of Downtown Lindsay from this building, and with classic Victorian architecture, it is one of the best wedding venues.
The reception space can easily seat about 120 people. Apart from this, you can find the only wooden-fired pizza and hand-crafted beer in the town. The in-house restaurant is one of the best in the community, and your guests would drool over the lip-smacking dishes prepared by the chefs.
