About Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
Halifax Citadel National Historic Site is a historical site located in Halifax, where weddings, businesses and social activities of all sorts take place. The shape of this position is identical to that of a major star with from top to bottom walls, lined alleys and flags. Where available, private reservations will bring a special touch to your event. It was historically built in 1749 and was one of the UK's four major naval stops in the Overseas Empire in Halifax. Completed in 1856, it remains one of the powerful forts with a town and harbour view.
• The Garrison Room: It is a common venue for weddings, ceremonies, and meetings; it can hold up to 60 people, according to the type and arrangement of tables. The Naval & artillery rooms can be adjoined for larger events.
• The Navy Room can host up to 12 people for business-style meetings.
• The Artillery Room: Another small room with a capacity of 8 guests
• The Soldiers' Library and Coffee Bar: It is a multipurpose place that used to be a library and soldiers' club. Here you can host 72 guests.
