About The Sanderson Centre
Sanderson Centre is located at 88 Dalhousie St, Brantford, Ontario. It is a historic theatre in Brantford’s downtown since 1919 was designed by a Scottish architect, Thomas W. Lamb. A popular tide swept the venue (in the late 1920s), and the City of Brantford purchased it in 1896 to preserve Brantford’s heritage by creating a cultural centre. It earned the name for the performing arts in tribute to the memory of the Sanderson family. It is a fully equipped venue that is gradually becoming a destination for event spaces and performing arts. It is an auditorium/theatre venue type.
Sanderson Centre can host a guest capacity of 2 to 1,125 guests at maximum. Its total meeting room space is 529.5 Square Meters. The venue has four meeting areas and an auditorium. The event or function spaces in the venue include the;

● The main lobby is an alternative venue for a guest capacity of 175

Sanderson Centre handles requests for bookings on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests are collected by 15th August of each year for bookings from July to June the following year.
